- SHINNOKI is REAL WOOD, the ultimate natural product that evokes emotions such as warmth, style, coziness, authenticity and more. The veneer processing technique optimizes the use of this renewable resource and leads to a consistent appearance and a maximum log yield. State of the art manufacturing equipment, centralized at one location, exceed current environmental requirements for the finishing operation.
- SHINNOKI is SUSTAINABLE and environmentally responsible. Decospan is committed to a strong and caring environmental policy throughout its business. The SHINNOKI panel and sheet veneer are constructed using NAF (No Added Formaldehyde) adhesives and is CARB2 compliant, meeting the most stringent emissions standards. The stains and lacquers applied for finishing are water based. Sourcing of wood veneer from reliable, sustainable and legal sources coupled with FSC & PEFC standards as well as the post-industrial recycled core content shows the Decospan commitment to a robust environmental policy. These characteristics support MR and IEQ points for LEED projects.
- SHINNOKI is A NEW DIMENSION in wood veneer. Contemporary stains are applied to the face veneers, which imperceptibly match the latest trends in design and interior finishes. Using the “mixmatch” jointing technique, where wood of different trees and various grain patterns are matched, continuous areas without an optical interruption are created. The result? A more uniform quality without losing the lively and unique aspect of wood. Modern, innovative, creative and timeless at the same time.
- SHINNOKI is AN ANSWER to every aesthetical requirement. The SHINNOKI collection consists of 16 options, each in a modern color finish. The ultra mat PU 7 layer finish ‘Gloss 10’ enhances the natural look and preserves the veneer structure. Panels are supplied ready to use and to ensure they arrive in first class condition; each veneer has a transparent removable protection film applied to the surface. The SHINNOKI range is a combination of quality veneers applied to the face of an FSC certified MDF core, with a light or dark melamine back. The SHINNOKI collection is available in ¾” x 4’ x 9’ and is offered regionally by selected stocking distributors. Matching edgebanding, single sheet flexible veneer and touch-up pens are also available as part of the SHINNOKI SYSTEM. SHINNOKI provides a high quality, aesthetically pleasing and green design solution for contemporary and timeless applications.
